Always keep the product closed and away from light and heat sources, since vitamin C tends to oxidize easily in contact with the air, darkening. Acromos Plus with Vitamin C and arbutin is based on a particular lamellar emulsion that mimics the composition of cell membranes, which makes it easily skin-like. It contains two derivatives, one water-soluble and the other fat-soluble, which release vitamin C at different times because they are soluble in the aqueous phase and in the lipophilic phase of the lamellar emulsion respectively. This allows a more homogeneous distribution of vitamin C and its easier penetration through the skin. Acromos Plus by means of the neo-formation of vitamin C, stimulates the progression and continuous discoloration of "brown spots". In fact, the skin enzymes transform the two derivatives of Vitamian C into L - ascorbic acid (vitamin C) which eliminates the brown melanin granules favoring the formation of "colorless melanin". This "bleaching" activity begins immediately after the application of Acromos Plus, thanks to the presence of the water-soluble derivative, and continues over time due to the retarding activity carried out by the fat-soluble derivative. The immediate action is also enhanced by the simultaneous presence of the plant extract of arbutin and by the particular vehicle with high penetrability.
Continued use of these ingredients has been shown to reduce skin hyperpigmentation.
