Hypoallergenic Adhesive Elastic Bandage

Bandage for plantar fasciitis and ankle injuries, is used as prevention, rehabilitation and functional treatments of trauma to muscle-tendon and joint units.

Tensoplast sport, hypoallergenic adhesive elastic bandage has the following properties:

• Excellent adhesiveness
• The hypoallergenic (latex-free) adhesive mass avoids possible allergies in latex intolerant subjects
• The characteristic longitudinal stripe coating is effective in reducing the risk of skin maceration
• The polyethylene protector guarantees the stability of the adhesive mass while maintaining the elastic property of the support.

Tensoplast sport is the only bandage with textile support that can be extended in length and with variable elasticity memory.

Below about 50% of extension, the bandage has the characteristics of a very normal elastic bandage, recovering the original length in full. When the extension exceeds 50% (maximum tension) the bandage loses its tensile-elastic properties and becomes a rigid structure resistant to further stresses.
