The one-piece bags Esteem + Uro are made specifically for urostomates. The new design of Esteem + Uro thanks to the rounded corners and the cover sheet, guarantees total comfort throughout the day.
Esteem+ Uro is equipped with a self-supporting barrier for total skin protection inDurahesive which ensures maximum tightness against any urine infiltration. The bag is equipped with an anti-reflux valve that prevents urine from rising towards the stoma and an Accuseal tap, which allows it to be emptied.
The skin barrier in Durahesive is protected by a removable shaped blister at the time of use. Behind the hydrocolloid layer in Durahesive there are holes that allow the attachment of the belt.
The bag is equipped on the bottom with a tap with Accuseal closure. This type of faucet guarantees greater safety for the patient, also thanks to the visual indicator (red drop) found on the revolving faucet: the presence of the red drop means that the faucet is in the open position. If necessary, the tap can be connected to a larger capacity bag (night bag) using the connecting tube present in each package.
The Durahesive present on the whole adhesive area of ​​the barrier delicately protects the skin from contact with urine. The characteristics of this hydrocolloid make the skin barrier particularly resistant to the corrosive effect of liquid effluents, allowing an effective and long stay in situ. It is waterproof and allows you to take a bath or shower without having to remove the device.
The anti-reflux valve prevents urine from rising upwards and stagnating around the stoma, thus avoiding possible urinary tract infections.
Thanks to the connecting tube, the bag can be connected, during the night, to a larger urine collection bag, thus avoiding interrupting the night's rest to empty the bag. For additional safety in the hold, even if it is not essential, it is possible to use a support belt.
