Property

Celegyn is the result of a careful selection of functional ingredients of natural origin. Hyaluronic acid carries out a hydration, protection and lubrication action. It is one of the main components of the epidermis where it has a structural support action that gives tone and elasticity to the tissues.

Correct tissue hydration, guaranteed by hyaluronic acid, allows the maintenance of a humid environment favorable to the skin and mucous membrane re-epithelialization process. Its lubricating action, similar to that of a protective barrier, reduces the discomfort associated with vaginal dryness and various conditions of alteration of the mucosa.
Sweet almond oil together with other natural ingredients such as beta-glucan and sericin, has a moisturizing and lubricating action and contributes to the protection of the vulvo-vaginal mucosa, favoring its recovery towards a trophic and healthy state.
The protective action of hyaluronic acid is further completed by the soothing and delicate action of other components of natural origin such as glycerophosphoinositol-choline, obtained from the innovative processing of sunflower lecithin and alpha-bisabolol, a well-known component of essential oil of chamomile.
Thanks to the properties of hyaluronic acid and the combination of all the selected ingredients, Celegyn® contributes to the restoration of the integrity of the skin and the vulvar and vaginal mucosa and alleviates the symptoms associated with atrophic vaginitis.

How to use

Unscrew the cap and break through the safety seal with the rear cap. Before applying, wash the affected area thoroughly.
External use (vulvar): apply the cream with a light massage directly on the affected area.
Internal (vaginal) use: use the vaginal cannula (applicator) and follow the instructions below.

1. Unscrew the cap and screw on the disposable cannula.
2. Gently squeeze the tube at its lower end to allow enough cream to flow out to fill the cannula to the stop.
3. Remove the cannula and close the tube with the cap.
4. Gently insert the cannula as deeply as possible into the vagina. To facilitate the introduction it is recommended to perform the operation lying on the back with the knees raised. Push the plunger until the cannula is completely empty.
5. Remove the cannula and discard it after use.

Celegyn will spread out evenly on the vaginal walls aided by physiological movements.
It is good hygiene to wash your hands before and after using Celegyn.

Frequency of use

In the presence of internal vaginal symptoms, it is recommended to apply CELEGYN, through the special cannula and preferably in the evening, once a day for at least six days for a maximum of 30 consecutive applications, or according to medical opinion.
To favor the maintenance of a good tropism of the external genitalia (vulva), apply CELEGYN as needed. The use can be repeated and continued over time according to need or medical opinion.

Precautions

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Use each cannula included in the package exclusively with Celegyn.
The supplied vaginal cannulas are disposable; do not reuse them. Their use is strictly personal.
Consult your doctor in advance:
• in case of pregnancy and during the menstrual period;
• in case of simultaneous use with drugs or other medical devices.
It is compatible with normal latex condoms (according to Standard NF S 97-034: 2007).
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
Do not use if the original package is opened, damaged or incomplete.

Secondary Effects

In the first days of applying the cream, local burning may occur in some cases due to vaginal dryness or other uncomfortable conditions that make the mucosa very thin and sensitive. These sensations are temporary and do not require treatment changes.

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product. In case of ongoing vaginal infections do not use Celegyn.

This medical device must be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
After each use, make sure you have correctly screwed the cap to the tube to avoid product alterations.
