Active principles
Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia DC): due to the richness of polyphenols (echinacosides), the root of this plant helps to strengthen the body's natural defenses, the functionality of the upper respiratory tract and urinary tract.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) : one of the most important vitamins for our body, which however is not able to synthesize it and must therefore be taken with the diet. It also doesn't build up and you need to take it constantly to keep your blood levels stable.
Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus Bung) : tonic-adaptogen effects are attributed to the root rich in polysaccharides, useful against fatigue and colds.
Ginseng (Panax ginseng) : ginsenosides (the major active constituents of the ginseng root) show tonic-adaptogenic activity on the immune function.
N-acetyl L-cysteine (NAC) : analogue of L-cysteine (non-essential sulfur amino acid), NAC has been marketed since the 1960s for the treatment of respiratory tract diseases.
