Profem Plus is a balanced dietary supplement based on plant extracts of: Pratense clover, Pueraria lobata (kudzu), Soy, Chaste tree, Green tea, Griffonia, enriched with FOS vegetable fibers (Fruit-oligosaccharides), probiotic lactic ferments "gastro-protected microencapsulated" Bifidobacterium lactis Bb1, tindalised lactic ferment, naturally rich in zinc, and mineral zinc.

Profem Plus contains, in carefully balanced quantities, the extracts of the following plants:

• Pratense clover or Red clover (Trifolium pratense L.); its extract, rich in isoflavones, helps to alleviate menopausal disorders, and supports the cardiovascular and bone systems.
• Pueraria lobata or Kudzu (Pueraria lobata (Willd.) Ohwi); its extract is particularly rich in isoflavones, which perform a beneficial action in relieving neurovegetative disorders. Furthermore, this extract is useful for promoting the regulation of blood pressure. Several studies have shown the importance of Pueraria Lobata extract in assisting the positive action of soy extracts.
• Soy (Glicine Max L. Merr); the extracts of this plant contain two isoflavones, genistein and daidzein, active in relieving menopausal symptoms and useful for slowing down the aging process. Several studies have shown that Asian women have a low incidence of typical menopausal disorders due to the high consumption of soy.
• Chaste tree (Vitex agnus castus L.); its extract has a positive action on the progestin hormone component, which integrates and completes the effect of the isoflavonic components mentioned above.
• Griffonia (Griffonia simplicifolia Vahl ex DC. Baill.); Griffonia extract is rich in tryptophan, the amino acid precursor of serotonin, the main neurotransmitter involved in controlling mood, sleep quality and body thermoregulation. The metabolism of tryptophan tends to progressively alter with the onset of menopause.
• Green tea (Camellia sinensis L. Kuntze); its extract is known for its antioxidant properties and is useful for the balance of body weight.

The formula is completed by: zinc which contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system and probiotic lactic ferments, in a gastro-protected microencapsulated form with prebiotic fiber (fructo-oligosaccharides - FOS), useful for promoting the balance of the intestinal flora. The balanced combination of these plant extracts present in the Profem Plus formulation is a useful nutritional support for the postmenopausal woman.

The synergistic action of the plant extracts present in the Profem Plus formulation is supported by the presence of 6 lactic ferments with probiotic action.

The balance of the intestinal flora is also important with menopause. The lactic ferments present in Profem Plus together with the prebiotic vegetable fiber, consisting of Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), favor the balance of the intestinal flora.

The 6 probiotic lactic ferments contained in Profem Plus are in a "gastroprotected microencapsulated" form. The use of this production technique guarantees the vitality of the lactic ferments also during the gastro-intestinal transit. The composition of Profem Plus makes use of the presence of a tindalised lactic ferment called Bifidobacterium lactis Bb1, capable of releasing zinc in a bioavailable form.

How to use

We recommend 1 sachet of Profem Plus per day, preferably between meals. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water (200 ml) at room temperature, mix carefully and take immediately.

Warnings

The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in unopened package. Do not use in pregnancy. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.
