CE medical device, class I non sterile. Long-lasting Barrier Cream. It protects skin from body fluids at risk of damage associated with incontinence and related symptoms (anal itching). It can also be used to hydrate and nourish dehydrated skin. The product can be used safely on intact or damaged skin, for example in the presence of damage associated with incontinence.

Technical features
Concentrated hypoallergenic cream with balanced pH, forms a waterproof barrier, resists washing does not reduce the adhesion of patches and adhesive dressings. Does not contain petrolatum, zinc oxide, perfume and parabens. The product does not contain natural rubber latex, nor processed natural rubber.

Components
Waterfall; diisoctil adipate; terpolymer acrylate; coconut oil; stearyl ether PPG (15); glycerin; isopropyl palmitate; paraffin oil; trimethylsiloxysilicate; paraffin; dimethicone; phenoxyethanol; benzoic acid; dehydroacetic acid; magnesium sulfate.

Application techniques
1. Before application the skin must be clean and dry.
2. Apply a thin layer of product with a rotary motion over the entire area to be treated.
3. If 3M Cavilon Long Lasting Barrier Cream is applied to an area with skin folds, make sure these areas are separated to allow the skin to dry before applying the product.
4. Application to morning hygiene and evening change is recommended.
5. A small amount (5 cents coin, equal to about 1 gram of product) is sufficient for the entire sacral area. If necessary, the product can be applied more frequently. A greasy sensation on the skin indicates that an excessive amount of product has been applied.

storage
Store the product at room temperature (15-30 ° C). Avoid exposure to excessive heat or humidity. The period of validity is 2 years from the date of production, provided that the product is properly stored. The expiry date is printed and clearly visible on each sales package.

Warnings
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If skin conditions deteriorate or show no signs of improvement within 7 days of starting treatment, seek medical attention. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical attention. Do not apply on subjects known to have allergy or hypersensitivity to the components.

Precautions
Make sure that the product is completely dried before applying Westiti pads. The use of other barrier products such as ointments, creams or lotions could significantly reduce the effectiveness.
