READY STERILE DRESSING WITH SWAB

Indications
Ready-to-use sterile absorbent dressing indicated for the treatment of closed, clean surgical wounds, burns, abrasions, skin graft sampling sites, intravenous catheterization sites and surgical incisions.

Dosage and method of use
Before applying, let the previously applied disinfectant dry and make sure the skin is perfectly dry. Open the package and remove the sterile dressing. Remove the first paper liner, thus exposing the adhesive surface. Place the dressing on the application site so that the swab completely covers the wound and gently remove the second part of the liner. Adhere the dressing by applying light pressure on the support.

Characteristics
Consisting of a perforated support in polyester, permeable to water vapor and water repellent. The very breathable central pad is made of dirayon fibers coated on both sides with a thin and porous polyethylene film. It is precisely thanks to this film that the dressing does not adhere to the wound, thus allowing for atraumatic removal. Its composition also guarantees a high absorption by osmosis of excess secretions. The adhesive, hypoallergenic and water-resistant, is made up of a mixture of acrylates. The adhesive is therefore sensitive to pressure, so by pressing lightly on its surface, perfect adhesion to every part of the body is obtained. It also leaves no residue on the patient's skin and does not cause redness upon removal. The rounded edges allow the dressing to improve conformability and adhesion even in the most difficult parts of the body.

Sterility
The sterilization of the dressing is carried out by gamma rays within an industrial process validated according to the technical regulations in force. The sterility of the individual packaging is guaranteed provided that it is intact, i.e. it has not been opened or damaged.

storage
The product must be stored at room temperature between 15 ° and 30 ° C, away from extreme conditions of humidity, dust, pollutants, etc. The period of validity is three years from the date of production, provided that the product is correctly stored in the original sales package. The expiry date is stamped and clearly visible on each sales package and single envelope.

Support: non-woven polyester fibers; absorbent pad: rayon fibers with polyethylene film; adhesive: mixture of acrylates.
