Control Solution

Indications:
useful in the professional field for checking the operation of Accu-Chek Aviva instruments and strips.
The dexterity required in using the control solutions is identical to that for carrying out the blood test.

How to use:
insert a strip into the meter and check that the code number that appears on the display is identical to the code number of the strip pack.
Choose the control solution you want to test with. Remove the bottle cap, wipe the tip with a cloth, squeeze out a small drop and apply it to the front edge of the yellow area of the test strip.
When an hourglass appears on the display, the control test has started.
Immediately afterwards, a result appears on the display with a flashing letter "L". At this point you can set 1 or 2, depending on the solution used by pressing the arrow key once to indicate level 1 and twice for level 2. Press the on / off key to confirm.
If the result is within the reference range, the result appears on the display and "OK" appears, if it is not within the range, "ERR" appears.

Characteristics:
it contains two solutions of low and high concentration glucose with known titre.
