Lactobacillus Acidophilus represents the main native probiotic that colonizes the first intestinal tract, duodenum and jejunum. Several studies have shown that Lactobacillus Acidophilus is characterized by the ability to inhibit bacterial and fungal growth, constituting a useful physiological defense system in case of infections by various pathogenic bacteria and fungi, in particular Candida Albincans.
