How does it work

Smigol binds to the mucins of the intestinal wall stabilizing the physiological mucus film that covers it so, even in the course of profuse diarrhea, it protects the mucosa from inflammatory agents and prevents the passage of toxins into the circulation.

• In the course of enteritis it helps protect the intestinal mucosa from attack by bacteria, viruses, cytokines, necrosant enzymes and antigens, reduces diarrheal discharges and water and electrolyte losses
• preserves the absorption capacity of the intestine and improves the assimilation of fluids and electrolytes
• stabilizes the water and electrolyte balance
• normalizes intestinal function

Technological additives (1m558i) Bentonite 915,000 mg PROPERTIES In cases of diarrhea, it helps normalize intestinal function, favoring the stabilization of the water and electrolyte balance. The presence of bentonite, a clayey mineral of the smectite family, confers a strong adsorbent activity which can also manifest itself against mycotoxins and organic substances.

Instructions for Use

The use of this product is used differently depending on whether:

• Foals : the use of the powder is recommended in foals without swallowing reflexes, in this case place the quantity to be administered in a suitable container and shake gradually adding hot water until a homogeneous suspension is obtained (150 ml of water for 60 grams of Smigol). Allow to cool and administer orally using a rhinoesophageal tube.
• Horses : 60 g (two scoops) for 150 kg of body weight per day. In acute phenomenologies, repeat the administration every 12 hours for a period ranging from one to seven days, until the symptoms are resolved.
