ACTICOAT Flex is the new format of the ACTICOAT Nanocrystalline Silver dressing, designed as a highly conformable interface between the infected wound and a secondary dressing.

The new polyester knitted support is designed to offer maximum handling for the doctor and the highest comfort for the patient. Always with ACTICOAT antimicrobial safety.

Indications

ACTICOAT Flex 3 is indicated as an antimicrobial barrier for superficial and deep wounds, such as burns, skin grafting sites, surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers.

ACTICOAT Flex 3 can be used on infected wounds. In this case the infection should be monitored and treated according to the local clinical protocol in use.

Conformability

• Simple to apply, it conforms perfectly to the wound base
• ACTICOAT Flex can be used in combination with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) for up to 3 days
• Sustained release of silver on the wound bed
• Minimize removal trauma
• Soft and gentle on the skin, the elastic support allows the patient to move comfortably
• It is not necessary to wet the dressing on exuding wounds

Breathability

The loosely woven structure allows for the passage of exudate.

Format

Pack with 5 pieces. Measure 5cmx5cm.
