NON-ADHERENT DRESSINGS

Indications:
It can be used in the treatment of dry to over-exuding wounds when it is necessary to prevent adhesions between the wound and dressing, such as in the case of burns, radiation damage, skin transplants, abrasions etc.

Characteristics:
non-adherent dressing without active ingredients that allows an atraumatic change. It is composed of a fabric of rayon-viscose filaments impregnated with petrolatum. The filaments are soaked before weaving in order to leave the pores of the dressing open and thus allow the drainage of exudates and transpiration of the wound. It can be cut without unraveling or fraying.
