Isotonic solution for inhalation

Eutuss is a non-sterile medical device indicated in aerosol therapy.

Indications

Eutuss is a product indicated in adult and pediatric patients to favor the elimination of excess mucus. It allows the alleviation of symptoms related to irritation and inflammation of the respiratory tract, even when accompanied by cough, and typical cold symptoms such as nasal congestion and irritation of the nasal mucosa even in the case of allergic rhinitis or sinusitis. Promotes the fluidification of secretion by facilitating breathing.

The single dose of Eutuss is 2.5 ml.
The content of a 5 ml vial allows you to perform 2 daily treatments.

How to use

Inhalation of the solution can be carried out with a nebulizer, with the use of a mask, actuator or nasal cannula, following the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer of the nebulizer.
- Detach a vial of EUTUSS from the strip of 5 vials present in the package.
- Shake the vial to favor the homogeneity of the solution.
- Open the vial by turning the cap, do not discard the cap as it is necessary to close the vial.
- Use half the contents of the vial for a single treatment, pouring the solution into the nebulizer up to the mark on the vial.
- Breathe in the nebulized solution according to the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer of the nebulizer, for a duration of 10 minutes.
- Close the vial with the cap. The remaining solution must be stored in the refrigerator and used for the possible second daily treatment within 12 hours from the first opening.

Components

Sodium Chloride 0.9%, Pinus Mugo Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Helichrysum Essential Oil, Sink Essential Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Water.

Warnings

The solution is intended for inhalation use only. It is not intended for oral use. Not injectable.

• Before use, check the expiration date indicated on the package. Do not use after the expiration date.
• Do not use if package is open or damaged.
• The product not used immediately after the first opening must be kept in the refrigerator and used no later than 12 hours.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children under the age of three. The product contains small parts which can cause suffocation.
• Treatments must be performed under the supervision of an adult.
• Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components contained in the solution.
• Patients with a tendency to breathlessness or hypersensitivity should use Eutuss only on prescription.
• Do not use, unless on medical advice, under 2 years, as in this age group the physiological characteristics of the respiratory tract lead to a limited drainage capacity of the bronchial mucus.
• Do not dilute the solution and do not use the product in combination with other products as it could alter their action.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible in people with intolerance to one or more components contained in the solution.
During the inhalation of the isotonic solution, in very sensitive patients who suffer from bronchial asthma or bronchial hyperreactivity it is possible that a reversible contraction of the bronchi may occur. In these cases, discontinue therapy and contact your doctor or pharmacist.
It is important to report unwanted effects to your doctor, pharmacist or company.

Store at room temperature, away from direct light and heat sources, inside the properly closed package.
Validity in unopened package: 18 months.
