Horse chestnut is the plant of the venous system: many drugs have been produced from its active ingredients for the well-being of the leg veins. It is useful in phlebitis, venous insufficiency, varicose veins and hemorrhoids because it tones the venous walls, strengthens the capillaries and decreases the stagnation of liquids. In popular use it is known for its decongestant action on the prostate.

The glycerin macerates or bud derivatives were born in the 1950s from the research of Dr. Pol Henry of Brussels, who was the first to clinically experiment with plant extracts obtained from metabolically active embryonic (meristematic) plant tissues, such as buds, young shoots and rootlets.
ERBAMEA offers 20 certified organic bud extractives, in 50 ml packs, made with fresh plants harvested mainly in the Apennines between Umbria, Marche, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. Freshly picked buds, shoots and rootlets are extracted with the traditional method, reported by "Pharmacotechnie", of maceration in alcohol and glycerin of vegetable origin, for a minimum time of 21 days, to ensure the best extraction of phytocomplexes.

Recommendations for use

60 drops in a little water 3 times a day, equal to a daily dose of 3ml of bud extract, corresponding to 0.06g of horse chestnut buds.
