AFOMIL Montefarmaco Ophthalmic Wipes - Topical Eyelid and Eyelash Treatment

Ophthalmic wipes indicated for the topical treatment of the eyelids and eyelashes.
Can also be used in the presence of secretions resulting from allergic, inflammatory and / or infectious phenomena, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis, dysfunction of the meibomian glands, chalazion and sty.

Its use is also particularly valid in the pre - and / or post-operative phase of ophthalmic surgery.

It is also recommended for the daily treatment of the periocular area in subjects predisposed to the onset of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctives of various kinds.

How to use

After carefully cleaning your hands, open the bag and remove the gauze.
Apply the gauze in the eyelid area, passing it gently in order to allow an adequate treatment for the removal of ocular secretions and any other deposits (smog, dust, dust, etc ...).

In the event of particularly persistent secretions or occlusion of the lacrimal canaliculus, it is advisable to heat the closed bag for a few minutes in lukewarm water (about 40 ° C) and then use the gauze as a warm compress, massaging the area gently.

On the other hand, in the case of inflammation it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze on the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold pack.
