Alce Nero boiled and organic borlotti beans come exclusively from Italian crops. The borlotto variety is a plant with yellowish-red streaked pod fruits whose seeds are raw, ivory in color, with burgundy-brown streaks. When cooked they take on a dark color and the inside becomes floury. Ideal for soups and salads, very practical because they are already cooked. They are naturally a source of fiber.
