Characteristics

Alfaré Neutro is a food for special medical purposes. Particularly suitable for feeding infants and newborns who have allergy to cow's milk proteins and gastrointestinal disorders, therefore they need a hypoallergenic and highly digestible product., The product contains whey proteins subjected to extensive hydrolysis and can represent the sole nutritional source in children up to six months of age. The main feature of the peptide blend is its hypoallergenicity and high digestibility. Thanks to the presence of MCT (highly digestible medium chain fatty acids) equal to 40% of fats, Alfaré is suitable for the management of some gastrointestinal diseases, such as:

• Acute and chronic diarrhea;
• Allergy to cow's milk proteins;
• Post-surgical intestinal syndromes or defying pathologies;
• Cystic fibrosis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease;
• Re-feeding after necrotizing enterocolitis;
• Enteral feeding and / or weaning from total parenteral nutrition.

The product provides 5.01 Kcal per gram, distributed as follows: 12% proteins, 45% carbohydrates and 43% lipids. Before using Alfaré it is always good to consult your pediatrician, who will also give indications for the doses to be administered which, remember, are established based on the age and weight of the child. The presence of traces of lactose does not recommend its use in case of galactosemia.
