Solutions obtained by maceration in alcohol, to a given degree, of "Fresh Plants" or parts of them. The dried or stabilized plants are used only when the distance from the place of origin can induce in the vegetable of the chemical modifications such as to make it no longer usable. The alcohol content ranges from 45 ° to 65 °, we rarely have 90 ° extractions. The alcohol content in the resulting solution must be 10%, calculated in relation to the weight of the dehydrated plant. The maceration takes place for 21 days and is followed by decanting, pressing, at constant pressure, of the obtained deposit and the subsequent filtration of the preparation. Conservation is generally around 5 years.

It should be noted that the most important feature that detracts from the high quality level of our Mother Dyes is given by the use of the fresh plant.
