Cordyceps sinensis is a medicinal mushroom with a wide range of uses; native to the Himalayas, it grows to heights of over 3,000 meters and has been used in China for about two thousand years. In Traditional Chinese Medicine it is considered a powerful kidney tonic, seat of our vital energy.

Property:

Cordyceps has always been considered one of the most powerful remedies made available by nature. In Traditional Chinese Medicine it was used to treat respiratory, renal and cardiovascular diseases, as a support for the immune system, but also as a remedy for impotence and for recovering from convalescent situations even from very debilitating diseases.

It is currently considered an anti-aging remedy capable of improving the use and production of cellular energy.

Cordyceps Sinensis contains proteins, peptides and all essential amino acids, polysaccharides and glycoproteins with immunomodulating action, sterols, including ergosterol (precursor of vitamin D), nucleoside analogues with antiviral action, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, including B1, B2, B12, E and K and numerous minerals. Always considered one of the most powerful remedies made available by nature, Cordyceps Sinensis was traditionally used for the treatment of respiratory and kidney diseases. It is currently considered an antiaging remedy, adaptogen tonic, useful in improving the use and production of cellular energy, it also promotes aerobic cellular metabolism, giving the body greater resistance. From numerous clinical studies it has been observed that Cordyceps improves liver function (activation of Kupfer cells), regulates the levels of liver enzymes and the lipid profile.

Aloha Medicinals researchers about five years ago began studying how to grow. The project was to restore the natural growth conditions in the laboratory in order to maintain the characteristics and properties that make it so effective.

Biochemical tests carried out by the Integrated Biomolecule Inc. laboratory of Tucson (Arizona), revealed that the Cordyceps produced by Aloha Medicinals contains up to 4 times the concentration of nucleotides and 5 times the concentration of all the active ingredients of the wild species collected ( Cleaver P, Holliday JC, Powers ML.
