VERY DRY SKIN is subject to redness, flaking, dermatitis. It is caused by an alteration of the EPIDERMAL BARRIER. The epidermal barrier is composed of the hydrolipidic film. It covers the entire epidermis with the main function of selective permeability: it hinders the contact between external agents and living cells and prevents the excessive loss of trans-epidermal water. Variations in the epidermal barrier lead to: sensitivity, dehydration and percutaneous absorption. The consequences are paraphysiological alterations which tend to be chronic: xerosis, eczema, redness, flaking and dermatitis.

OIL SHAMPOO is ideal for cleaning hair and sensitive scalp or scalp sensitized by irritative phenomena (dermatitis, dandruff, seborrhea). The consistent lipid fraction (45%) allows physiological cleansing, removing dirt and residues with the utmost delicacy. Helps remove cradle cap from newborns. Not foaming. Easy rinse.
