Amothe® Peko-Te Green Drink Vegetal Progress Organic Green Tea

Produced with selected and first choice leaves of pure organic green tea (Camellia sinensis), 100% from organic farming.

The use of tea was already documented in China in 2757 BC when Emperor Shen Nung, the father of Chinese medicine, reigned. Green tea is rich in polyphenolic compounds that destroy free radicals: it is also characterized by its fluorine content, a well-known preventative of caries.

Green tea is a well-known stimulant of the intellectual and muscular faculties: this action is due to the caffeine which in tea is combined with polyphenolic substances and is released in the body more slowly than that of coffee. Its invigorating action is therefore sweeter and more prolonged.

Green tea promotes the drainage of liquids, the balance of body weight and normal intestinal function. It is also considered a tonic for physical and mental fatigue and has excellent antioxidant properties.

Method of preparation

We recommend the preparation of the drink using 2 teaspoons of Amothe® per cup of water. Once it has boiled, leave the preparation to infuse for 5-10 minutes and then consume it within 1/2 hour to preserve its color and delicate aroma.
