Iodofolin2.0 is a balanced dietary supplement for the simultaneous supplementation of iodine and folic acid.

By virtue of the amount of folic acid present, iodofolin 2.0 is indicated to supplement the diet of women of childbearing age and during pregnancy.

Iodofolin 2.0 is also indicated for the integration of folic acid and iodine in the diet of adolescents between 11 and 17 years of age and during breastfeeding.

Iodine contributes to the normal growth of children, helps the normal functioning of the cognitive and nervous system, supports the maintenance of thyroid hormone production and the physiological thyroid function.

Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy and to normal hematopoiesis. In women of childbearing age, supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for developing neural tube defects in the fetus.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The intake of the product is contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity to the components. Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The beneficial effect on the increase in the state of maternal folate is obtained with a supplementary daily intake of 400 mcg of folic acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Consult your doctor before use if your thyroid condition is abnormal.
