Hydrofiber® dressing with reinforcing fiber and silver ions

Antimicrobial dressing in Hydrofiber® Technology, composed of pure sodium carboxymethylcellulose (NaCMC) in gelling fibers with 1.2% by weight of silver ions, enriched with reinforcing fibers in medical Lyocell.

Thanks to Hydrofiber® Technology, AQUACEL ™ Ag Extra ™ vertically absorbs wound exudate, instantly forming a soft gel that retains absorbed fluids, maintains the optimal moist environment, conforms perfectly to the wound bed and makes dressing removal atraumatic .

The presence of ionic silver guarantees a broad spectrum, rapid and long-lasting antimicrobial activity, without being cytotoxic and irritating.

The weave of reinforcing fibers in medical Lyocell guarantees structure and great resistance to the gelled dressing, especially during removal, even in cavity lesions, sinus tracts or undermining.

AQUACEL ™ Ag Extra ™ is available in different sizes, both in flat and tape format.
