Unique, new generation product for the control of mosquito larvae, "ecofriendly" and respectful of the environment.
It is a silicone-based liquid product that can be easily applied to the surface of stagnant and still water; forms a very thin film on the aquatic surface which covers its entire extent.
It acts by physical-mechanical action, with a persistence and efficacy of at least 4 weeks.
In compliance with current regulations, the product is not dangerous for health and has no negative effects on the aquatic environment.
The product is guaranteed by the manufacturer as being suitable only for mosquito control.
Do not use for other uses.
The presence of PDMS does not change the water values such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, hardness, ammonia and nitrogen compounds. In particular, the dissolved oxygen values fall within the acceptable parameters for the survival of flora and aquatic fauna.
Tests conducted by certification bodies have established that PDMS can be used in drinking water.
It does not create resistance phenomena.
The product is suitable for use in still and stagnant waters: lakes, reservoirs, rice fields, sewers, drains, manholes, drains, water tanks, saucers, buckets, septic tanks, tires, gutters, etc.
How to use
This product has an exclusively physical-mechanical action.
The thin silicone film, which forms on the surface of the water after application, prevents the correct development of the immature stages of mosquitoes (larvae and pupae).
It does not allow the larvae and pupae the correct intake of the atmospheric oxygen necessary for their development at the adult stage, leading to the consequent suffocation. In fact, it prevents the larvae and pupae from attaching themselves to the surface of the water in order to draw from the air the atmospheric oxygen necessary to survive.
Furthermore, the low surface tension also has an impact on egg laying, as adult females do not lay eggs on treated water.
Apply 1 ml of product as it is every m 2 of water surface.
According to the surface of the area to be treated, it is sufficient to pour the indicated quantity of product and in a short time the surface will be covered in a uniform way. No special equipment is required.
No particular individual protection is required for the operators.
