Aquilea Flu Nasal Wash - Medical Device

Aquilea Flu Nasal Wash is a medical device which, thanks to the presence of sulfur in an easy-release form (Biosulfur®), combines the advantages of sulfur with a delicate and effective washing action of the nasal cavities.

Indications

Aquilea Flu Nasal Wash is a solution that frees the nose by carrying out a useful action to counteract sinusitis and rhinitis, even of an allergic nature, due to atmospheric agents, allergens, viruses and / or bacteria. It is indicated for the daily hygiene of the nose of children and adults. It does not contain propellant gases. It can also be used for long periods. It is recommended whenever the nose is irritated, dry and stuffy. It can also be used by pregnant women, except for particular and specific contraindications. Unlike other products containing sulfur, it does not give off a characteristic odor as it does not contain sulphides, sulphites or sulphates, often causing an allergic response.

How does Aquilea Flu Nasal Wash work?

Pollutants, bacteria, dust, viruses are irritating agents that attack the nasal mucosa on a daily basis, triggering the formation of catarrhal mucus which prevents normal respiratory function through the nostrils. Bacterial inflammation and allergic forms can affect the nasal cavities (Rhinitis), or extend to the paranasal sinuses (Sinusitis) or to the bronchial tree (Bronchitis). Washing with Aquilea Flu Nasal Wash helps to reduce the extent and frequency of irritating and allergic processes. Biosulfur® (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a natural compound part of the global Sulfur cycle. Biosulfur® is the only direct donor of Sulfur which, used in the form of a bottle (10%) and associated with the mechanical washing action, turns out to be very useful in removing and thinning mucus.

Method of use and dosage

Spray with the dispenser first in one nostril, then in the other and make 1 or 2 sprays, several times a day, as needed. Close carefully after use. Gently place the mouth of the vial on the child's nose and press slowly for an irrigating jet; with quick pressure to spray. To take advantage of the jet function until the end of the bottle it is necessary to tilt it sufficiently. Remember that the spray effect is given by a rapid and decisive pressure, while to obtain the jet you must press gently. It is possible to modulate the jet by adjusting the pressure on the bottle, as needed.

Warnings and Contraindications

Store at room temperature away from light and heat sources. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date. Do not use the product if the package is not intact. The minimum conservation term refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Avoid splashing in the eyes. Using the same bottle by multiple individuals can facilitate the transmission of infections. Do not use in case of nosebleeds in progress or just ended.
