Knee conditions that can benefit from compression, such as:

slight sprains and strains
painful knee
feeling of instability
chondromalacia (cartilage degeneration following trauma or overloads)

Main function of the Medical Device

The medical device provides Class 3 (French) compression, proprioceptive effect and realignment of the patella.

Characteristics

Lateral splint for joint stabilization.

Patella stabilization and centering silicone ring.

Patellar centering coating in heat-sealed silicone.

Patellar decompression zone.

Breathable decompression zone at the level of the popliteal fossa (back of the knee).

Upper hem in Silicotex® with anti-slip effect.

Compression fabric made with 3D Motion Technology.

Ribs: 100% steel

How to wear it

Put on the knee brace by positioning the patellar centering in correspondence with the patella. It is advisable to insert the knee brace keeping the silicone hem turned upside down at the blue reference line.

Contraindications

Do not use in cases where compression is contraindicated.

Warnings and precautions for use

Store in a dry environment away from excessive heat and light.

Do not prolong the use of the product without medical advice.

The product is designed for use by one person only, do not use it on multiple people.

The product must not be used in direct contact with damaged skin.

Do not use in case of allergic or hypersensitivity to the components of the product.

If you encounter problems in using the product such as the appearance of pain or obvious local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional.

In the event of a serious accident following the use of the product, contact the manufacturer and the local health care provider.

The brace should not be used if relative, absolute immobilization or surgery is required.

In case of circulatory problems in the lower limbs (eg diabetes or peripheral vascular insufficiency), it is advisable to consult a doctor before using the medical device.

It is advisable, the first time, to have the product positioned by a qualified operator and to carry out subsequent positioning independently in the same way.

Washing instructions

Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring gently, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.

Instructions for disposal

The product must be disposed of in compliance with current regulations.
