S 40 Birch

This compound acts as a drainage of uric acids present in the osteo-articular and cartilage system, as well as carrying out an important purifying action in the lymphatic system.
Birch is a phytotherapic used efficiently as a diuretic (property attributed to flavonoids), to which it combines anti-inflammatory virtues. Extracts, infusions and tinctures of birch are indicated in premenstrual syndrome, in the prevention of kidney stones and gravel, in heart failure edema, in the presence of arterial hypertension, ascites, dizziness, but also of edema of the lower limbs due to insufficiency venous and cellulite.
The diuretic action would be due to the presence of flavonoids, especially quercetin and other phenolic compounds, which seem to contribute to accelerate the formation of urine, however the diuretic effects do not seem to be due only to the flavonoids as with isolated fractions of these they are minor effects were found.
Nettle is also traditionally used as an anti-inflammatory, particularly in arthro-rheumatic diseases. A recent laboratory study has shown that the extract of this plant inhibits the cellular production of cytokines and leukotrienes, substances that promote inflammation in the tissues. A dry nettle extract has been shown in rats to reduce swelling, redness and pain caused in the animal's paw by the injection of inflammatory substances such as carrageenans.

Ingrediants:
Alcohol, water, extracts of: BIRCH (Betula pendula Roth) leaves, NETTLE (Urtica dioica L.) leaves, URSINE GRAPE (Arctostaphylos uva ursi L.) leaves, JUNIPER (Juniperus communis L.) fruits.

Dosage:
40 drops twice a day, in half a glass of water, 10 minutes before meals.

Warnings:
Do not take during pregnancy and under three years of age.

80 drops make available Birch 167 mg, Nettle 100 mg, Bearberry 40 mg, Juniper 26 mg.
