What is Artrosulfur Visc for?
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a biologically active sulfur donor. Sulfur plays a decisive role at the level of collagen; in fact, thanks to the disulfide bridges, it is able to allow the three-dimensionality of the structure. Methylsulfonylmethane does not require complicated metabolic conversions unlike sulfur amino acids. It has a high gastric tolerability and sensitizing activities have rarely been recorded. Chondroitin sulfate and Glucosamine sulfate are polysaccharide structures with viscoelastic activity at the level of various body areas such as cartilage and myotendinous and osteotendinous junctions. Vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen for the physiological function of cartilage. Triterpene complexes, called boswellic acids, are extracted from Boswellia carteri Birdw , while furanodienes are sesquiterpene complexes extracted from Commiphora myrrha. A new generation, technologically advanced extraction method has been applied to these extracts, which allows to obtain a precise and titrated selection of these molecules. From Boswellia, which promotes normal joint function, acetyl-11-keto boswellic acid (AKBA) was selected. Hyaluronic acid is a structural component of cartilage. Thanks to its particular chemical structure, it is able to bind many structures useful for retaining water, improving the degree of hydration. Given its strong viscosifying properties, hyaluronic acid is also essential for maintaining the turgidity, plasticity and viscosity of the extracellular matrix and therefore essential for the functionality of the cartilage as it guarantees its lubrication and absorbs the shocks suffered during movements. Zinc intervenes in the cell division process and contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Finally, Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissues. Based on Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Chondroitin sulfate, Glucosamine sulfate, Vitamin C, Myrrh, Boswellia, Hyaluronic acid sodium salt, Zinc, Vitamins of group B, Copper and Selenium.
How to use Artrosulfur Visc
We recommend taking 1 sachet per day. Mix well by slowly pouring the contents of the sachet into a glass of water (about 200 ml) until a homogeneous solution is obtained. It is advisable to pour the water into the glass first and then the contents of the sachet. Take the contents of the sachet on a full stomach after the main meal.
The presence of suspended residues is not an indication of alteration, but is due to the dry extracts characterizing the product.
Artrosulfur Visc can also be taken by people with intolerance or sensitivity to gluten and lactose.

Artrosulfur Visc can be taken in association with infiltrative therapies and as an adjunct to normal pharmacological therapies used during inflammatory and degenerative processes affecting the collagen structures present in the joint. The Artrosulfur® line also includes Artrosulfur C and the medical devices, Artrosulfur HA, based on Hyaluronic Acid, and Artrosulfur MSM + HA, based on Hyaluronic Acid and Methylsulfonylmethane, available in the format of 3 syringes.
