ASKINA® SILNET

Soft silicone layer for contact with the wound

Askina® SilNet is made of conformable non-woven material coated on both sides with silicone. It is used as a wound contact layer, conforms to the wound surface and adheres securely to the surrounding skin. The wound area is protected from mechanical damage during dressing changes. The use of Askina® SilNet thus minimizes the trauma associated with dressing changes.

Contraindication

Askina® SilNet is contraindicated for ulcers caused by infections, such as tuberculosis, syphilis, fungal infections, deep bites or third degree burns. Lesions showing clinical signs of infection (temperature, pus, inflammatory signs) should be treated under medical supervision. Do not use if package is damaged or opened.

Cuts and abrasions, lacerations, traumatic injuries, 1st and 2nd degree burns, fixation of skin grafts, donor sites, surgical wounds, lacerations
