Welland “Hyperflex®” Hydrocolloid with Manuka Honey
Hyperflex® hydrocolloid is composed of a special hydrocolloid formula that makes it particularly flexible and adaptable. It conforms very well to the various parastomal profiles, even where the stoma is badly positioned and difficult to fit, ensuring a perfect fit.

Manuka honey is a pure and natural honey that is produced by bees exclusively by extracting the nectar of the Manuka flower that grows in only one area of the world: a limited region of New Zealand. In all products of the Aurum® line, the addition of “Medical Grade” Manuka honey to our Hyperflex® hydrocolloid guarantees maximum protection of the peristomal skin and can facilitate the healing process in case of skin irritation and damage.

Advanced Convexity (Thermomodulable - Convex)
The convex “Convex” plates guarantee the right pressure only where it is needed, preventing skin problems such as ulceration, bedsores and necrosis. The convexity is created by a thermoplastic polymer which, when heated, adapts perfectly to the skin surface, not generating excessive pressure and not creating dead spaces between the plaque and the skin which could also favor infiltrations.

Urostomy Plates
Thicker flat and convex plates are available, specifically designed to be able to resist the aggressive action of effluents longer.

Soft tap and "Tap Pocket"
The faucet in soft plastic, elastic and thin, ensures a comfortable and discreet fit. At the same time it allows extremely simple opening and closing operations. The elastic plastic tap also allows direct connection with leg or night bags, without resorting to the use of additional adapters. Furthermore, thanks to the innovative “Tap Pocket” system, it is possible to insert the tap in the special pocket, thus making the bag more discreet and comfortable, also avoiding problems with decubitus.
