Aurum Convex : Versatile convexity for a delicate, leak-free fit.
Often when people with an ostomy have a badly positioned, inverted or depressed stoma, a convex plate is recommended to apply gentle pressure to help protrude the stoma. The Aurum Convex Convex One-Piece System for Colostomy allows people with ostomy suffering from infiltration and peristomal skin problems to regain lost confidence, whether they use traditional convex plates or flat plates. Thanks to the body temperature Aurum® Convex adapts to the shape of the body and creates a seal around the stoma. The gentle pressure exerted allows the stoma to protrude towards the inside of the bag, preventing infiltration under the plaque.
Inspectionability
In the opaque versions, the new non-woven fabric with “split back” allows you to monitor the condition of the stoma at any time, without necessarily having to use a transparent bag.
