Metallic gold is a very malleable, stainless and insoluble metal; it comes in the form of a fine brown powder, which does not glisten, but takes on a bright yellow color when pounded by a mortar.

Main indications

Aurum metallicum is indicated to cure, on a psychic level, the reactive depressive syndrome of the adult which occurs especially in winter, depressive manifestations of the elderly, character disturbances of the child, with violent anger and disproportionate to the age. One of the most frequent and safest indications at the cardiovascular level is arterial hypertension which occurs in waves: violent hot flashes, sensation of cephalic congestion, especially in the nape of the neck, and dizziness; another indication is cardiac erethism and extrasystoles, characterized by thoracic pulsations and a feeling of suffocation. Among the indications of this remedy there is also that ENT, with chronic rhinitis and sinusitis, and the eye, with conjunctivitis, iritis, ocular hypertension. The remedy is also useful for alcoholics who have fetid breath, dirty tongue, intense thirst, sensation of epigastric swelling, sometimes hepatomegaly. Useful in periostitis of short bones and in dental osteitis; in chronic rheumatic pains, joint or bone, deep, which worsen at night, with cold, in winter
