Capsule With Colostomy Bag

Description
Two-piece collection system with closed bottom bag folded back on itself, mechanical coupling and safety guide, for the collection of effluents in patients with left colostomies. Enclosed within a capsule with lid, the colostomy bag features an integrated filter with active and passive degassing functions. With Be1 the patient can manage their stoma in absolute safety, improving their perception of themselves, their physical appearance and self-esteem. Extremely compact, once worn, the Be1 capsule is thin and discreet and easily adapts to the abdomen of each user. Indicated for colostomized patients whose stoma has been packed for more than 1 month and whose stools have a hard to soft consistency.

How to use
Before applying the plaque: wash your hands; cut out the plaque skin protector to fit the size of the stoma, staying in the maximum cutout possible and leaving 2-3 mm around the stoma.
Skin preparation: clean the peristomal area with lukewarm water and pat dry gently; do not use ether, alcohol or other antiseptic products.
Positioning the support plate: remove the protective cover; place the plate around the stoma, taking care to place the 3 buttons of the flange at the top; gently press the plate on the skin so that it adheres.
Positioning and hooking of the Be1 capsule to the support plate: make sure that the capsule lid is closed; hold the capsule by its side edges with the tab of the positioning guide (located in the lower part of the capsule coupling ring) downwards; insert the tab into one of the grooves on the bottom of the plate ring (depending on the position where you want to apply the product); in order for the capsule lid to be correctly centered on the support plate, the safety button must be in front of the upper tab; lock the two rings by pressing them against each other starting from the bottom.
Degassing and collection of feces: degassing is recommended in the presence of pressure inside the capsule (tension on the skin) or swelling / bulging of the capsule; press the degassing button located on the top of the capsule lid in order to reduce the pressure inside; stool collection is recommended if the capsule continues to be rounded or if the tension on the skin does not disappear even after degassing.

Warnings
The Be1 Capsule is not suitable for use with convex support plates. Do not use the device if the abdomen and peristomal skin around the stoma are not completely healed. Do not use the device on individuals whose colostomy protrudes more than 10 mm from the skin, measured with the patient in the supine position, or on a stoma with a diameter of 40 mm or more. Use on colostomized patients with a history of chronic liquid stool is not recommended. The Flexima Be1 3S capsule and support plate must be selected according to the size of the stoma (with an ostomy less than 30 mm use a 55 mm Be1 capsule, with a stoma less than 40 mm use a 65 mm Be1 capsule). If the pouch inside the capsule opens unexpectedly, do not try to fold it, but use the device with the open position pouch or use a new Be1 capsule. Using a belt or tight garment over the device may prevent the collection bag from self-unfolding. Check the stoma and peristomal skin regularly. If you notice any changes and / or problems, discontinue use of the device and consult a physician.
