One of the most important functions of the skin is to protect the body from dehydration and environmental factors. This barrier function is performed by the outermost layer of the skin and by the hydrolipidic system. A functional skin barrier is critically important for skin hydration. Natural skin lipids play a very important role in the skin's barrier function.This protective function can be compromised by external factors such as cold, heat or the frequent use of cleansing products. The skin becomes dry, loses softness and elasticity and tends to get irritated. Dry and itchy skin is associated with a tendency to scratch, making the skin more sensitive to external factors. Regular use of suitable skin care products restores the natural skin barrier, thus helping to delay the appearance of dry and itchy skin conditions, replenishing lipids, protecting the skin and helping to relieve itchy irritation due to scratching. Balneum Plus Bath Oil was developed specifically to soothe dry itchy skin and to regenerate the natural skin barrier in order to delay the onset of dryness. Balneum PlusBath Oil contains a high concentration of natural soybean oil which is delicately dispersed in the bath water, giving it an inviting milky texture. During the bath, small drops of oil are deposited on the skin which immediately begin their reintegration action. The skin's barrier function that protects against natural moisture loss is thus regenerated. At the same time, Laureth-6 soothes dry and itchy skin. Soybean oil contains a high amount of unsaturated fatty acids and simulates skin lipids. With its regular use, the skin remains supple, soft and smooth.

How to use

Shake the bottle before use. Pour the oil directly into the warm / cold water (it must not exceed 36 ° C). Use the cap to measure the recommended quantity:
For a full bath use 2-3 plugs;
For the bath of a child or a newborn use 1/3 of a cap; for 1 partial bath use 1 ml.
If you want to use it in the shower, apply a small amount of product on wet skin and then rinse. After a bath or shower, gently pat the skin dry with a towel without rubbing.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and do not apply the product around the eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with cold water. If irritation persists, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor. Do not apply on injured or inflamed skin. Keep out of reach of children. Always clean the wash basin or shower tray after using the oil with liquid dish detergent. Rinse with warm water.
