The Ditalini Rigati are all born from the Ditali, a short pasta shape with very ancient origins: of certain Neapolitan origin, they were also made of some appreciated in Genoa.

The Ditalini Rigati are inspired in shape by a traditional sewing accessory: the thimble. The striped version stands out for its exceptional ductility: ideal interpreter of soups and minestrone, thanks to the particular striped it is gladly enveloped by the embrace of a simple tomato sauce.
