Basentabs what it is for

Basentabs is a food supplement of Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium and Potassium that contributes to the restoration and maintenance of the acid-base balance.

When Basentabs is useful

Basentabs is useful in cases of high-protein diets, diets rich in animal fats and refined sugars, diets poor in fruit, vegetables and whole foods, sedentary lifestyle, smoking, alcohol and drug intake, high environmental pollution, prolonged and excessive stressful situations physical activity.

Basentabs and Acid-Base Balance

Energy metabolism generates an accumulation of metabolic waste which is eliminated through the intestine, kidneys, skin and lungs. Many of these metabolic wastes are acidic and need an appropriate neutralization in order to be eliminated. If the body produces a quantity of acidic metabolic waste greater than that which it is able to neutralize and eliminate, an accumulation of acidic substances will occur which will lead, over time, to acidosis. Likewise, the lack of alkaline substances can lead to a state of acidosis. Proper nutrition should include alkalizing foods for about 75% of daily consumption: fruit, vegetables, potatoes, cabbage, lettuce, salad. Among the acidifying foods we find meat, poultry, cured meats, fresh and aged cheese, yogurt, products based on starchy foods and sweets. Many foods, despite being acidifying, are indispensable and must not be eliminated as an essential source of proteins and vitamins, however their acidifying contribution must be compensated by the intake of foods with an alkalizing content. If these precautions are not enough, a supplement such as BASENPULVER PASCOE / BASENTABS pH-balance PASCOE® can be useful.

Physical Activity and Lifestyle with Basentabs

A walk in the woods or a bike ride improves oxygen supply and promotes the release of carbonic acid in the form of carbon dioxide. Avoid, if possible, situations that generate stress.

How to use Basentabs

The dosage for this supplement involves taking the following: we recommend taking 4 to 8 tablets per day, to be swallowed with plenty of water, preferably in the evening before going to bed.

Warnings for using Basentabs

Contraindicated for those suffering from severe renal insufficiency and severe hypertension. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not give to children under 4 years old. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet. Well tolerated in pregnancy, lactation and by diabetics.

Proper storage of Basentabs

It is advisable to store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources. After opening it is recommended to store in a cool place. The validity in unopened package is 36 months.
