Particular indications Basica® Vital is indicated as a support for diets and slimming treatments. Basica® Vital is very popular with older people and pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Indication for diabetics: A daily portion (approx. 32 g) of Basica® Vital corresponds to 2.5 UP or 471 kJ (111 kcal)

Indication for people with lactose intolerance: Basica Vital is the only Basica® product that contains lactose to strengthen the natural intestinal hour. In case of lactose intolerance you can take all the other Basica® products.

Advice for use: Add 1 portion (16g) of Basica® Vital in the morning and in the evening to cold or hot foods and mix. Also suitable as an ingredient for cooking (even in the oven) or to dissolve in orange juice.

Other information: The lack in our diet of basic components (present as organic salts of potassium and magnesium in vegetables) and their replacement with salt does not allow to neutralize the "acid load" produced by acid-forming foods, that is, they produce in the body acids deriving from the metabolism of sulfur, phosphorus and chlorine. Thus a state of "latent chronic metabolic acidosis" is established, which tends to increase with advancing age, as a consequence of the physiological decline in renal function. This state has negative consequences on the body, such as growth retardation in childhood (1), decreased muscle mass formation (2), bone loss (3), kidney stone formation (4)
