The device is an infrared thermometer designed to measure the forehead temperature in infants and adults without the need for contact with the human body.
It can be used both by consumers in the home environment and by doctors in clinics. The thermometer is powered by two AA batteries (DC 3V). LCD display and infrared lens. The thermometer is preset in BODY mode. Surface temperature differs from body temperature. To obtain the body temperature always use the BODY mode. When measuring the temperature of a baby bottle or tub, use the Surface Temp mode. To measure the temperature of a room, use the Room mode.

How to use

Install the batteries. When using for the first time after inserting the batteries, wait 10-15 minutes for the device to adjust to the room temperature. Press the On / Scan button, directing it to the center of the forehead, at a distance of 3-5 cm. Make sure it is set to BODY mode then press the On / Scan button and the temperature is immediately displayed. Before taking a measurement, make sure that hair, sweat or dirt is removed from the forehead and that the forehead is completely dry.
