Bimbovit Gocce is a multi-vitamin supplement for children useful for filling increased needs or decreased intake of vitamins . Vitamins are of great importance for the child, both for their modulating action in numerous metabolic and energy processes, and for the role they play on the immune defense mechanisms and in the defense against oxidative stress.

In premature babies, routine supplementation with vitamins D, E, K, C, B6 and folic acid is always indicated; in these subjects, moreover, supplementation with vitamin A seems to prevent pulmonary complications. The infant, apart from prophylaxis with vitamin K at birth for the prevention of haemorrhagic disease, needs a supplementation of vitamin D, which is still recommended for all breastfed infants up to the 2nd year and after the suspension of adequately supplemented formulas. Vitamin supplements are also necessary in children with severe food intolerances: vitamin A, for example, is recommended for intolerances to cow's milk proteins and vitamin C in cases of fructose intolerance. In infants, vitamin K deficiency can carry a small but real risk of death or permanent brain damage from bleeding, particularly in the first six months of life. This occurs especially when maternal vitamin K reserves are insufficient and the intestinal flora is still scarce. For this vitamin the risk of hypervitaminosis is very low given the rapid elimination and limited reserves in the body. Vitamin D deficiency can cause a profound alteration of the mineral metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the bone tissue in the process of formation and a progressive mineral depletion of already calcified bones. This leads to a typical deficiency manifestation: rickets, which is observed mainly in children in the first years of life.

Preservatives: Potassium Sorbate, Methylparahydroxybenzoate. Acidifier: Citric Acid. Aroma: Orange Aroma. Sweeteners: Fructose, Sodium Saccharin. Dispersant: Polysorbate 20.

How to use: 10 drops / day, also divided into two doses.
