Himalayan pink salt is a very pure edible salt, extracted manually from ancient salt tunnels in the heights of Pakistan. Its crystals were in fact formed more than 200 million years ago following the drying up of ancient seas. They have a regular shape and a typical pink color, due to the natural presence of iron. Pink salt represents a 100% natural alternative to classic table salt (sodium chloride), to season your recipes with an ingredient rich in minerals, free of additives and not subjected to chemical refining.
