What is BioAttivo Marino Plus

BioAttivo Marino Plus are soft gelatin capsules each containing 500 mg of fish oil, including 185 mg of EPA, 115 mg of DHA and 25 mg of other Omega 3 fatty acids. The Omega 3 content is mainly in the form of fatty acids free and easily absorbed. Since fish oil is concentrated, a significant amount of Omega 3 can be obtained in a relatively small capsule. Fish oil is obtained through careful refining, which results in a special cleaning process in full compliance with the regulatory limits on pollutants. The fish oil present in BioAttivo Marino Plus does not come from aquaculture, but from wild fish. The oil is purified and is therefore free of contamination. BioAttivo Marino Plus is encapsulated in an oxygen-free environment and has an extremely low peroxide value, as the oil is effectively protected from oxidation. Two B vitamins are added to BioAttivo Marino Plus which reduce homocysteine, folic acid and vitamin B12.

Free fatty acids in BioAttivo Marine Plus

In nature, Omega 3 fatty acids occur as triglycerides which must be broken down and broken down into "free" fatty acids before the digestive system is able to absorb them. This process is triggered by a digestive enzyme called lipase. BioAttivo Marino Plus contains Omega 3 mainly in the form of free fatty acids already broken down and ready for absorption. The advantage of this type of Omega 3 fatty acids is that they can be directly absorbed even by subjects characterized by reduced absorption of lipids.

As a natural consequence of the fact that the oil comes in the form of free fatty acids, you may feel a burning sensation in the tongue when chewing the capsule. It is therefore recommended to swallow the capsule whole. The added free fatty acids and B vitamins can also affect the smell of the oil, even though it is fresh and clean.
