Intended use
Short-term, sterile, non-invasive device intended to be used to control the wound microenvironment.
It allows the wound to be sealed along its entire perimeter and its application is indicated after surgery or traumatic injuries as an antimicrobial barrier.
Characteristics
Adhesive dressing in TNT, breathable, water-repellent, light and thin, elastic, non-tearable, radiolucent, permeable to air and water vapour, with rigid protective silicone paper for application with a sterile technique and removable while keeping the dressing intact, with hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive with good adhesion without sticking to the operators' gloves.
Equipped with a central compressed in folded medical non-woven fabric, hypoallergenic, with absorption power superior to pure cotton and without fraying at the edges, equipped with non-stick perforated polyester film which guarantees at the same time maximum absorption of blood or exudate and minimum possibility of adhesion to the wound .
Removable atraumatically without releasing residues.
