Ear Drops

Description

Otological drops for dogs and cats indicated in the veterinary treatment of external otitis with skin infection caused by Malassezia and dermatophytes.

Active Ingredients:

• Climbazole 2%: antifungal agent that reduces the defensive properties of the fungus membrane.
• Ceramides: lipid substances, fundamental constituents of the lipid barrier of the epidermis.
• 18-beta-glycyrrhetic acid: soothing substance and very suitable for sensitive and inflamed skin, also used in pediatric products.
• Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA): natural active, reduces clinical symptoms such as inflammation, itching and pain thanks to its ability to counteract tissue damage due to acute and chronic diseases.

Effectiveness

Theramicotic ear drops allows you to effectively treat ear infections due to Malassezia and dermatophytes avoiding, in most cases, the use of systemic drugs. The presence of ceramides allows to preserve or restore the integrity of the superficial skin lipid layer.

Indications

Malassezia infection is common in canine dermatology, along with pyoderma. The pathogens, in addition to creating an annoying otitis for the animal, cause an alteration of the most superficial layers of the epidermis of the external ear, which results in a greater ability of bacteria to cause infection, worsening the clinical picture, irritating the skin and leading to a self-feeding situation due to itching that leads the dog / cat to persistently scratching in the affected area.

How to use

After gently cleaning the ear canal, introduce 3-8 drops of Theramicotic ear drops into the ear, 1-2 times a day, as directed by your veterinarian. To facilitate its distribution, massage the base of the ear well. Treatment should be continued until complete remission of clinical symptoms.
