Description

Shampoo and foam for dogs and cats to use as
adjuvant in the treatment of skin infections (pyoderma) and bacterial proliferation.

Active Ingredients

• Chlorhexidine 3%: molecule with bactericidal activity used in clinical practice for the topical treatment of pyoderma.
• Ceramides: lipid substances, fundamental constituents of the lipid barrier of the epidermis.

Effectiveness

The 3% concentration of chlorhexidine is considered effective in all clinical studies carried out and the presence of ceramides allows to preserve or restore the integrity of the superficial lipid film. The integrity of the epidermal barrier is essential in subjects suffering from atopic dermatitis so it is important to keep dryness, dehydration and skin irritation under control.

Indications

Theraxidin is useful for treating any type of pyoderma and is great for managing people who develop recurrent pyoderma.

How to use

Theraxidina Shampoo : wet the animal's coat, apply a small amount of product evenly, massaging for 5/10 minutes until it comes into contact with the skin, then rinse thoroughly. The frequency of use can vary from 1 to 3 times a week depending on the advice of the veterinarian.

Theraxidin Foam : press the dispenser and release a suitable amount of foam, suitable for the parts to be treated (in case of localized or widespread lesion on the whole body). Apply the product evenly by making it penetrate with a light massage until contact with the skin. Do not rinse. Repeat 1-2 times a day or according to the advice of your trusted veterinarian until the problem is resolved. It can be used in combination with Theraxidin Shampoo to complete its action.
