ALKALOS BAGS is a GLUTEN -FREE food supplement based on calcium citrate and vitamin D3 , potassium and magnesium citrate indicated in all subjects who show alterations in the acid-base balance, deficiencies or increased need for potassium, magnesium or calcium and vitamin D3.

INGREDIANTS

Calcium citrate

Calcium is a fundamental mineral for its many biological functions: it is the major constituent of bones and teeth, it is important for normal muscle function. The calcium of Alkalos A in the form of calcium citrate represents a particularly bioavailable and therefore easily absorbable form of this mineral, and can also be taken on an empty stomach, thanks to the fact that calcium citrate does not need an acidic gastric pH to be broken down and absorbed.

Vitamin D3
Vitamin D 3 contributes to the normal absorption / utilization of calcium and phosphorus and, together with calcium, contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.

Potassium citrate
Potassium contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system

Magnesium citrate
Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

The calcium, potassium and magnesium contained in ALKALOS BAGS are in the form of citrate useful for supplementing a diet low in alkaline values or to compensate for a diet with a high intake of acidic values.

NUTRITION TABLE
ALKALOS BAGS is composed of Sachets A of 3.5 g of total weight based on calcium citrate and vitamin D, and of Sachets B of 3.5 g of total weight based on magnesium citrate, potassium citrate and bicarbonate of potassium.

METHOD OF USE AND DOSAGE

Envelope A: unless otherwise indicated by the doctor, it is suggested to take 1 sachet in the morning, on an empty stomach, to promote calcium absorption.
Pour the contents of the sachet into half a glass of water, mix thoroughly and take the suspension immediately. ATTENTION THE POWDER IS NOT SOLUBLE IN SOLUTION.

Envelope B: unless otherwise indicated by the doctor, it is suggested to take 1 sachet in the evening to favor a more adequate contrast of metabolic acidosis, usually higher at night. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in half a glass of water, stirring thoroughly to prepare a pleasant citrus-flavored drink.

WARNINGS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS

ALKALOS BUSTE is contraindicated in patients with hyperkalaemia or hypermagnesemia, or with conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
The simultaneous intake of ALKALOS and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalaemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor the progress of kalaemia.
There are no known interactions with other drugs.
Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea may develop during treatment. The tablet pack may be particularly suitable for these subjects.
