Bioimmunas plus food supplement, what is it for?

Bioimmunas is a food supplement with extracts of morinda citrifolia, sambucus nigra, ribes nigrum, echinacea angustifolia and lactic ferments with antioxidant activity and immunostimulating properties, adjuvant in the treatment and prevention of seasonal infections of the upper respiratory tract and useful in conditions of decreased immune defenses, in pediatrics and during chronic and neoplastic diseases.

What are the individual elements contained in it and how do they work?

Lactoferrin
Its main action is to stimulate the immune system. Lalactoferrin is a glycoprotein (the human one is made up of 691 AA) which alloys 2 Fe2 + atoms; it is present in breast milk and in many secretions (tears, nasal exudate, saliva, bronchial secretion, gastro-intestinal juice, mucocervic-vaginal and seminal fluid) it is also synthesized in the white blood cells that release it in the sites where there is an infectious process. Immunostimulating action: it is able to promote the growth and differentiation of T helper lymphocytes, CD4 and CD8 which in turn stimulate the antibody response by B lymphocytes; it also seems to have an important role in the release and regulation of all those chemical mediators (cytokines, interleukins, lymphokines and TNFs) involved in calling up the cells of the immune system in case of infections or inflammation. Antibacterial action: since it does not make free iron available, an essential element for promoting the growth of pathogenic bacteria, it makes these species more vulnerable to the action of antibiotics (an important example is given by the easier eradication of Helicobacter Pylori obtainable with the intake of lactoferrin during antibiotic therapy); in addition, a derivative of lactoferrin itself (lactoferricin which derives from the enzymatic digestion of lactoferrin) seems to have its own antibacterial action.
Morinda Citrifolia L (Noni)
Equipped with numerous biological activities, among which of particular interest are immunomodulating, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. The major components derived from the fruit and leaves include: terpenoids, flavonoids, linoleic acid, β sitosterol, scopoletin, ursolic acid, proxeranine.
Ribes Nigrum L.
The extract of black currant juice rich in mineral salts, vitamin C and phenolic components has a documented antioxidant, immunomodulating and antimicrobial activity. Studies carried out in vitro demonstrate a stimulating action on macrophages and innate immunity. Active components: phenolic components such as anthocyanins, flavonoids, ellagitannins, gallotannins, proanthocyanidins, phenolic acids and polysaccharide extracts.
Probiotics
The supply of lactic ferments is a fundamental aid in all situations of altered balance of the intestinal microflora. Bioimmunas Plus provides complete and balanced support of freeze-dried lactic ferments associated with the positive effect of FOS as prebiotics and Vitamin C.
Echinacea angustifolia
Provided with stimulation activity of innate and adaptive immunity by means of phagocytic stimulation of macrophages and the release of cytokines including interferon-gamma, carrying out an adjuvant activity in opportunistic infections and in rhinovirus infections and in viral diseases of the first respiratory tract. Active components: alkamidic derivatives and caffeic acid.
Sambucus Nigra L.
Known for its antioxidant, antiviral, antiproliferative (in vitro) and antimicrobial properties, Elderberry has an immunostimulating and antioxidant action and is able to assist the course of colds and flu (in vitro studies demonstrate anti-virus H1N1 activity) by stimulating the production of cytokines anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory with immunoprotective action. The extract of Elderberry is useful in subjects with decreased efficiency of the immune system, in pediatrics and during various pathological infectious and neoplastic conditions. Active components: polyphenols derived from the fruit, including flavonoids (hyperoside, isoquercitin and rutoside) and anthocyanins.

How do you assume bioimmunas plus sachets?

The intake of this product varies according to age, we see below the various doses:
Children: one sachet a day to be dissolved in half a glass of water or fruit juice at room temperature and drunk in small sips.
Adults: two sachets a day (one in the morning and one in the evening) to be dissolved in half a glass of water.
To be taken preferably on an empty stomach.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
For pregnant or lactating women and children it is recommended to consult the doctor.

Format and storage
The product is sold in box of 24 sachets of 3.7 g ready to use, it is also important to store the product in a cool place away from sources of heat and humidity.
