Procutase Ionic Hydrogel is an innovative product designed for the dressing of skin lesions. Thanks to its formulation based on a solution of ionized metals in traces and peptides of vegetable origin, applied daily, it is able to control the humid microenvironment of the wound, creating suitable local conditions to therefore allow faster recovery and optimal cleaning. of the wound bed. By virtue of these properties it can also be used as an adjuvant in all skin lesions in which it is necessary to facilitate the tissue repair process, such as wounds, ulcers, scalds and burns, excoriations and abrasions. Thanks to its high tolerability and biocompatibility, it is also indicated for prolonged treatments and in all those cases where treatment with cytotoxic products is not desired or cannot.

Components

Natural hydrophilic polymers, trace ionized metal solution, vegetable peptides with inhibitory action of metallo proteinases (TIMPs).
Excipients: denatured alcohol, lactic acid and deionized water.
Preservative: benzalkonium chloride.

Recommended for

Hydrogel for the dressing of skin lesions such as wounds, ulcers, scalds and burns, bruises and abrasions. Thanks to its innovative formulation it is very useful in controlling the moist microenvironment of the lesion, favoring the proliferation of fibroblasts and the healing process by primary intention.

How to use

Wash your hands before application, remove the screw cap from the tube, screw the special cannula in its place, then apply the gel directly on the lesion to be treated after thorough cleansing with sterile physiological solution or suitable detergent. To facilitate the action of the gel, it should be kept in place with a non-adherent secondary dressing. Change the dressing daily or every other day, or otherwise according to the doctor's opinion. After use, unscrew the cannula, rinse it with running water and let it dry very well before putting it back in the package. Carefully close the tube with the screw cap after use.
