Biophilus® LYOCENTRE Lactic Ferments

Biophilus contains Lactobacillus Casei variety Rhamnosus (LCR35) , which is a probiotic lactic ferment of human origin, is a combination of living organisms and metabolites and has numerous in vivo and in vitro clinical studies that have proven its effectiveness:

Therapeutic indications and posology

Gastro-intestinal pathology:

Viral and bacterial gastroenteritis and diarrhea (cure)

• Adults: 2 capsules 3 times a day until the diarrhea is completely resolved, then continue with 2 capsules in the morning and 1 in the evening for 10 days.
• Children up to 2 years: 1 sachet 3-4 times a day until the diarrhea is completely resolved, then continue with 1 sachet 2 times a day for 10 days
• After 2 years: 2 sachets 2-3 times a day until the diarrhea is completely resolved, then continue with 1 sachet 2 times a day for 10 days

Traveler's giarrhea (prevention)

• Adults: 1 capsule 2-3 times a day for 10 days
• Children up to 2 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day for 10 days
• After 2 years: 1 sachet 2-3 times a day for 10 days

Antibiotic therapies, prevention of alterations of the intestinal microbial flora

• Adults: 2 capsules in the morning and 1 in the evening for 10 days
• Children from 0 to 2 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day for 10 days
• From 3 to 6 years: 2 sachets in the morning and 1 sachet in the evening for 10 days

Helicobacter pylori gastritis in association with antibiotic and proton pump inhibitor therapy

• Adults: 1 capsule twice a day for 3-6 weeks

Irritable colon, colitis, constipation, bloating

• Adults: 1 capsule per day for cycles of 15-20 days per month
• Children 1 sachet per day for 15-20-day cycles per month

Immunostimulating action: - prevention of upper respiratory tract infections - therapies to be carried out in association with immunostimulants such as bacterial lysates

• Adults: 1 capsule 2 times a day for 10 days a month for 3 months
• Children up to 2 years: 1 sachet per day for 10 days per month for 3 months
• Children from 3 to 6 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day for 10 days a month for 3 months

Prevention of allergic diseases: - respiratory manifestations (oculorinitis and asthma) - dermatological (atopic dermatitis)

• Adults: 1 capsule 2 times a day for 10 days a month for 3 months
• Children up to 2 years: 1 sachet per day for 10 days per month for 3 months
• From 3 to 6 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day for 10 days a month for 3 months

Cystitis

• Adults: 2 capsules in the morning and 1 (or 2 in severe cases) in the evening for 7-10 days

A very recent study on children with constipation showed the effectiveness of LCR 35, comparable to the intake of magnesium (MgO) but with less abdominal pain.

The administration of Lactobacillus Casei Rhamnosus (CSF) in infants (through the mother, if breast-fed, directly if bottle-fed), drastically reduces the risk of necrotizing enterocolitis, positively modifying the intestinal flora by increasing the non-pathogenic one.

Biophilus is particularly effective in the treatment of diarrhea.

CSF therapy was shown to reduce the risk of contracting and the duration of rotavirus diarrhea.

Taking CSF for prolonged periods in children significantly reduces the incidence of acute diarrhea episodes.

Biophilus stimulates the body's immune activity by increasing the production of antibodies in the intestine.

Posology Children: 1 sachet in the morning and 1 in the evening, to be diluted in a little water or milk. In case of diarrhea double the dose.
