Betafol-B is a food supplement based on Folic Acid , essential for the growth, reproduction and perfect functioning of the nervous system and contributes to the formation of maternal tissues during pregnancy. It is an extremely important vitamin since it performs a co-enzymatic activity, participating in the synthesis of hemoglobin and some amino acids, such as methionine and glutamic acid. Of particular importance is the function it performs in lowering homocysteine levels.

The daily requirement of Folic Acid is 200mcg, which is exactly the quantity contained in a capsule of Betafol-B. Two capsules are recommended during attachment therapy which provide double the dosage.

Folic Acid shares many functions with Vitamin B12 , the best known and most widespread is the anti-anemic one.

B vitamins perform many essential functions:

- Vitamin B1 promotes the trophism of the nervous system and assists the metabolism of ethyl alcohol. Contributes to normal heart function.

- Vitamin B2 has an antidermatitic action; the daily requirement is equal to 1.2 mg; taking two capsules a day of Betafol-B integrates 1.6 mg of Vitamin B2. The intake of Vitamin B2 helps maintain mucous membranes, reduces the sense of fatigue and contributes to normal iron metabolism.

- Vitamin B6 has an antidermatitic action. It affects the normal formation of red blood cells and the functioning of the immune and hormonal systems.

- Vitamin B12 has an antioxidant, energizing and restorative action. Allows normal functioning of the immune system.
